We loved the fine fjord views from both our room and the restaurant with amazing food. The breakfast had a great selection of food and we enjoyed it in an enormous dining area. we were thrilled that the hotel allowed dogs. Lastly, we thoroughly enjoyed the spa with panoramic views.
No issues.

The staff was friendly and courteous, the facilities large and impressive, the view from the hotel, and if you're lucky, from your room, is spectacular, indoor parking is nice.
For å business traveler primarily looking for å desk to work at and a good bed this is a bit off the mark. The location is far away from charming Kragerø, and basically far away from anything, and in practice only reachable by car. It could be added that the road is a nice country road with lots of hairpin turns and a good surface, so you can let your car stretch out a bit if so inclined. It is a nice change from the speed- trap ridden and congested e18. To someone like me who was simply looking for a quick bite in the restaurant, I was not too happy with the only available selection, a “3-course” menu they charged nok 395 for. 3 courses – well, half a small bowl of soup, chicken with rice and a cheese cake for dessert. I feel calling that 3 courses is stretching it a bit. And, to top it off, nok 70 for a small bottle of beer could give “sticker shock” even to someone who should be immunized to (ridiculously) high prices. Internet service was free with code from the reception, but a small glitch with this setup was that the code had timed out the next morning, so I could check my mail only via my cell phone. One kind of expects internet access to be free and readily available at high price hotels these days. One more thing; the tv wasn't of the interactive hotel varitey where wake up could be programmed.

Located on a hill with beautiful views over the sea and Kragero, this hotel offers easy access to the coast via ferry or taxiboat. the harbour below is a great spot for water activities like water-skiing. Rooms are nicely decorated with Scandinavian style furniture and offer great views. the breakfast is of good quality.
Some guests have mentioned that the spa area can be crowded and chaotic during peak times.

I recently stayed at this luxurious 4-star hotel and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by the enhanced comfort and quality services it provided. The bed in my room was incredibly comfortable, allowing me to get a great night's sleep and wake up refreshed. The location of this place is truly stunning, with beautiful views of the sea and the charming town. I particularly enjoyed sitting on the terrace and taking in the breathtaking scenery. The hotel also offers a wide range of amenities, including a spa and wellness center with an indoor swimming pool, sauna, and jacuzzi. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that my needs were met throughout my time here.

This resort is a great choice for golf enthusiasts and families with children. the facilities such as the indoor and outdoor pool, spa, and gym are well, maintained. the beach club is also an added advantage and offers good diving opportunities. the buffet breakfast is impressive with a variety of eco, friendly products and hot dishes offered.
The service staff are generally seasonal and uninvolved, present only to fulfill a short, term contract. This attitude translates to mediocre service, thus making the resort feel unwelcoming.

Spent Xmas in this remote hotel. The stunning view of the nearby mountains was breathtaking. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the Xmas dinner, which included traditional Norwegian dishes. They also had lots of festive decorations, which provided a cheerful ambiance for the holiday.
The hotel was difficult to reach due to its remote location, and the roads were icy. Our room was small and basic, lacking some basic amenities such as a fridge and hairdryer.
